About Us

The Family Welfare and Reconciliation Ministry (FWARM) is a registered religious, non-governmental and non-partisan organisation dedicated to building stronger families and promoting peaceful communities. We provide support services, counselling, empowerment initiatives and family mediation to help individuals and families thrive socially, emotionally, spiritually and economically.

Membership is open to everyone who shares our vision for building stronger and healthier families. Individuals, professionals and partners from all walks of life are welcome.

BJECTIVES

The association is a non-Governmental and non-partisan and shall pursue the following objectives;

(A) FAMILY WELFARE-(FAWEL) UNIT

To instil saving habit in members and provide micro credit for Family Economic Advancement
To promote capacity building of members through both formal and informal trainings and seminars for skill acquisition
To support families with finance in time of critical need at minimal cost.
To provide health education and counselling programs for members.
To engage, undertake, support and give to charity works, projects and the likes as a form of social responsibility to the members of the society.

(B) FAMILY RECONCILIATION-(FAREC) UNIT

To foster unity and peace in families through mediation and conflict resolution
To sensitize the public through both print and electronic media on the necessity and how to maintain peace and unity in families.
To create the enabling environment for families to settle disputes.
To advise and enlighten families on further legal actions (if required) regarding un-ending disputes in families.
To engage in religious activities including organizing prayer meetings and crusades in pursuant of the other objectives of the ministry.
